Renovation of Toilet Facilities for girls School In Ibadan.

We handed over renovated toilets with modern facilities to school management.

On visiting the queens of apostles girls schools few months ago, i was touched with the state of the toilet facilities, girls defecates on papers, nylons and in bushes.

We renovated this toilets to improve the hygiene of girls in the school, as we know toilet plays a crucial role in the sanitation of the environment. If there is no access to clean toilets for the comfort of girls in schools especially when they reach puberty stage and menstruating, this can lead to some girls school dropouts, this is one of a known causation factors of school dropouts in reference to UNICEF and WHO.

Project completed within three months, we replaced 11 new toilets, new septic tank, installation of taps, drilling of water, procurement of pumping machine and face lift of the toilets. Today we were able to provide a standard they can use and maintain for a long time. Present at the commissioning were board of Trustees Rev Father Joachim Akee, Mr Lanrewaju Laniyan , Mrs Abiola Afolabi-Taylor
